SEA Games: Malaysia beats Vietnam 1-0 in final (Update)

VIENTIANE: Malaysia finally ended its 20-year gold drought in the SEA Games men’s football competition, when it defeated Vietnam 1-0 in the final played at the Main Stadium of the National Sports Complex in Vientiane on Thursday.

The National Under-23 boys, who came here as non-medal prospects, pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the Games to win the gold.

Malaysia last won the football gold in the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games in 1989, with a 1-0 victory over Singapore.

The ‘winner’ came courtesy of an own goal by Vietnam’s Mai Xuan Hop’s in the 84th minute of a toughly-fought final. The football gold medal was also Malaysia’s 40th gold medal in Vientiane.

The victory was all the more sweeter as the Malaysians had lost 1-3 to Vietnam in a group match on Dec 6.

Earlier, the young Malaysians had knocked out defending champions Thailand 2-1 in the group stage to win a place in the semi-finals.

Then in the last four, they downed Laos 3-1 in front of a sell-out 20,000 fans.

Last month, i’ m going to my auntie house asal nya nak gi betulkan PC dia yang kong kali kong. Atfer i manage to solve the problem, so we having chit chat, so may cousin said that they gonna have a picnic, to celebrate my auntie yang baru jer pass renewing her driving license..kikiki, my auntie ni ada license dah tp takut nak drive, ni bila dah retire dia bosan dok rumah so dia ambil lagik sekali driving licensenya.

So tanpa berfikir panjang i said, oklah camtu kita buat kat lake garden playground tu mmg nice place. Initial plan nak buat kat tasik kat Kota Damansara, tp facitilies tak byk lak.

After waiting for a confirmation dr cik yam on the date, finally they decide to had the picnic on 15-November-2009.

So when the day has come, just enjoy the pictures, a lot of delicious foods… yum..yum.. mula2 plan ada lah 3 family, and finally it become 6 family yang turn up.. they arrived at leke garden at 7.30am i heard, to book the gazebo kang lambat2 takder tempat. For those yang rasa dirinya not invited, bukan sbb tak nak invite, tp it just prompt idea so sorry yer… so maybe next time kita organise another picnic

Two years ago when the day she is born it's really a miracle moment, she was born at 7 months on the 6 Nov, but still come to the world and screaming ;) , she cannot wait to see and join her cousin maybe ;).

Day by day, we saw her grow up from as small as our hand palm, and today we can see her run, laugh, cry and play.

The moment I saw her smile when I come to meet her at the hospital for the first time it really touched my heart, she was very tiny and look so fragile. Now, hard to see her smile, but when she saw me with my camera, she will automatically pose and smile. When i had a hard day at work, i look at her smiley picture , all the stress gone with the wind ;).

Hope she will continue cheer up my day till the end of my life. We love you, Adha Ainnursafiyah so much….muahhhhss

ASB Declare Dividend 2009

Finally today PNB Officially announce the dividend and bonus for year 2009. Here the article from bernama . Mungkin dividen kali ini taklah sebanyak 2-3 tahun yang lalu, tp boleh lah, daripada takder. ;).

ASNB Declares Dividend Of 7.30 Sen Per Unit For ASB

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 (Bernama) -- Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), has announced an income distribution of 7.30 sen per unit and a bonus of 1.25 sen per unit for Skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB), for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2009.

Last year, the government-owned fund manager declared an income distribution of 7.0 sen per unit and a bonus of 1.75 sen per unit. Announcing the dividend and bonus for ASB on Monday, PNB chairman Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid said the income distribution would involve a total payout of RM4.95 billion by ASNB, an increase of 19.56 per cent from the RM4.14 billion paid out in 2008.

The bonus portion, meanwhile, would involve a total payout of RM537.65 million by PNB.
The payment will benefit 6.78 million unit holders who currently hold more than 70 billion ASB units. "Although the total numbers (dividend and bonus) looks lower this year at 8.55 sen per unit from 8.75 sen per unit last year, but in terms of total amount that we are paying out, it is higher at RM5.48 billion from RM4.79 billion last year," said PNB group chief executive and president Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman.

 
Hamad Kama Piah said PNB was in a strong position and would make sure of continued dividend payouts. "Based on our fund reserve, our capacity is more than 11 sen per unit but we are just paying 7.30 sen per unit and bringing forward the balance of 3.70 sen for 2010. "This is a long term fund and we want to make sure that we are able to use the money to buy more shares and do more investment because at the end of the day, we still have to pay again," he added.

ASB recorded a gross income of RM5.46 billion up to Dec 10, an increase of 3.4 per cent from RM5.28 billion in the corresponding period last year. Dividend income from investee companies contributed RM1.48 billion, or 27 per cent of the gross income. Profit from the sale of shares contributed RM3.67 billion, or 67 per cent, while the remaining RM309 million or 6.0 per cent came from investments in short-term instruments and other investments.

The income distribution and bonus will be automatically credited into the unit holders' accounts. All transactions for ASB will be suspended from Dec 21 until January 3 to enable the calculation of income distribution and bonus. Unit holders will be able to update their accounts from January 4. ASB is a fixed price equity income fund, opened for Bumiputera aged 12 years and above. It is aimed at generating long term, consistent and competitive returns to the unit holders.

ASNB Isytihar Agihan Pendapatan 7.30 Sen Seunit Bagi ASB

KUALA LUMPUR, 14 Dis(Bernama) -- Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), syarikat milik penuh Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), telah mengisytiharkan agihan pendapatan sebanyak 7.30 sen seunit dan bonus sebanyak 1.25 sen seunit bagi Skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB), bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 31 Dis, 2009.

Tahun lepas, pengurus dana milik kerajaan itu mengumumkan agihan pendapatan sebanyak 7.0 sen seunit dan bonus sebanyak 1.75 sen seunit. Mengumumkan dividen dan bonus tersebut hari ini, pengerusi PNB Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid berkata agihan pendapatan itu akan membabitkan pembayaran sebanyak RM4.95 bilion oleh ASNB, satu peningkatan 19.56 peratus daripada RM4.14 bilion yang dibayar pada 2008.

Bahagian bonus pula akan membabitkan pembayaran sebanyak RM537.65 juta oleh PNB.
Pembayaran ini akan memberi faedah kepada 6.78 juta pemegang unit yang kini memegang lebih 70 bilion unit ASB. "Walaupun jumlahnya (dividen dan bonus) kelihatan lebih rendah tahun ini pada 8.55 sen seunit berbanding 8.75 sen seunit tahun lepas, dari segi jumlah keseluruhan yang akan dibayar, ia adalah lebih tinggi iaitu RM5.48 bilion berbanding RM4.79 bilion tahun lepas," kata ketua pegawai eksekutif kumpulan dan presiden PNB Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman.

Hamad Kama Piah berkata PNB berada pada kedudukan yang kukuh dan akan memastikan pembayaran dividen yang berterusan. "Berdasarkan rizab dana, kapasiti kami adalah lebih daripada 11 sen seunit tetapi kami hanya membayar 7.30 sen seunit dan membawa ke hadapan baki 3.70 sen untuk 2010. "Ini ialah dana jangka panjang dan kami mahu memastikan kami boleh menggunakan wang itu untuk membeli lebih banyak saham dan membuat lebih banyak pelaburan kerana kami akan harus membayar sekali lagi," tambahnya.

Sehingga 10 Dis, ASB mencatatkan pendapatan kasar RM5.46 bilion, satu peningkatan 3.4 peratus daripada RM5.28 bilion pada tempoh yang sama tahun lepas. Pendapatan dividen daripada syarikat-syarikat penerima pelaburan menyumbang RM1.48 bilion, atau 27 peratus daripada pendapatan kasar.

Keuntungan daripada jualan saham menyumbang RM3.67 bilion, atau 67 peratus, sementara baki RM309 juta atau 6.0 peratus adalah daripada pelaburan-pelaburan dalam instrumen jangka pendek dan lain-lain pelaburan.

Agihan pendapatan dan bonus akan dikreditkan secara automatik ke dalam akaun-akaun pemegang unit. Semua urus niaga ASB akan digantung mulai 21 Dis hingga 3 Januari untuk memudahkan pengiraan agihan pendapatan dan bonus. Pemegang unit boleh mengemaskinikan akaun mereka mulai 4 Januari.

ASB adalah dana pendapatan ekuiti harga tetap yang dibuka kepada semua Bumiputera berumur 12 tahun ke atas. Ia bertujuan untuk menjana pulangan jangka panjang yang konsisten dan berdaya saing untuk pemegang unit. – Bernama

Nota Kaki :

Selalu org tanya kenapa ASNB tak boleh boleh bagi dividend/bonus yang tinggi? Sbb dalam pelaburan, semakin rendah risiko yang kita ambil, semakin rendah lah pulangan ( dividen/bonus ) yang kita dapat. ASB ni capital guaranteed, kira risiko rendah lah.

Kalau nak return investment yang tinggi, kita boleh masuk saham/unit trust/forex. Memang pulangan agak tinggi, tp risiko pun tinggi. So tepuk kocek tanyalah duitnya.
